Our personnel are a flexible resource specifically chosen to add value to your project. This allows companies to be connected with our highly regarded knowledgeable personnel as required. We also draw from the collective experience of the group, which serves to enhance the quality of operational efficiency and project support.
Adhoc offer our services on company to company basis, although we can assist with placement and recruitment if required. Consultants rates and fees are marked up on a minimum agreed transparent cost plus company / contractor feed thru.

PROJECT EXPERIENCE:
Adhoc Oil & Gas personnel have been involved on consultancy basis, directly and indirectly, for various major oil and gas providers in Australia and internationally. We have worked on projects for Woodside, Shell, Conoco Phillips, Apache, MEO Petrofac, Tullow Oil, Origin Energy, Oil Search, Exxon Mobil, Beach Energy and various other operators. We have worked extensively in Australia and many other countries which include New Zealand, South East Asia (Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, East Timor), West Africa (Mauritania, Ghana), China, Middle East (Oman, UAE, Iraq, Kurdistan), and Papua New Guinea.
We have had experience working in remote drilling locations deep water Offshore, Onshore in the Deserts, and high in the remote jungles where operations were conducted only via Heli-Lift.
In addition to conventional operations our key personnel and team have been involved in conceptual designs, planning and operations of high rate well tests up to 240 MMscf/d, 16,000 BOPD, high pressure and high temperature work < 15,000psi, big bore completions 7’’& 9-5/8’’, extended reach wells 9300m(Md), high H2S 9% and deep water (~2000m seabed) development operations.
OUR MANAGEMENT:
Tanya Moussa, B.Eng., Director & Principal Consultant
A leading health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) professional with 16+ years of HSEQ management; including expertise in project management, regulatory approvals, contractor management, risk management and organisation HSEQ compliance.
Tanya completed her engineering degree in 2006, majoring in the environment (with honours). From there, Tanya has worked within a diverse range of industries including; EPA Victoria, the Oil and Gas industry, manufacturing and energy sectors. Since 2008, Tanya’s main focus has been within the Oil and Gas Industry, on major offshore drilling projects as the Project HSE and Regulatory lead. Tanya’s experiences allow for an integrated HSE approach to project management deliverables through planning, execution and closeout requirements.
Dean O’Shaughnessy, Director & Principal Consultant
A senior engineering support and project management specialist with over 30+ years of Oil and Gas experience working on Australian and International projects both Onshore & Offshore. Dean started his career in the late 1980’s working for service companies and spent many years in the field specialising in well test, production, wireline, completions and coiled tubing. He later progressed to a business development role for an oil and gas engineering firm which allowed him to specialise his career in engineering support, project management & consultancy.
Dean has spent the last 20+ years working on a consultancy basis for major oil and gas companies in Australia and overseas. His vast consultancy experience has positioned him in senior roles where he was responsible for project planning and engineering from initial conception and design work to full project execution, completion and closeout. His current role includes general company management, business development, specialised project consultancy and engineering support for various clients.
